Scheduling an Appointment (Part 1)

To schedule an appointment, right click or double left click on any free space on the appointment schedule. A new tab will open within EzyVet showing the screen above.


(Blue) Appointment details

  • In each box, you can click the magnifying glass to scroll through options or you can begin typing in a box and EzyVet will populate relevant search items

  • By default, the date and time will auto-populate wherever you clicked on the schedule. However, you can manually change these values if needed.

  • "People/Resources Used" indicated who the appointment is scheduled with. ("Tech appointment" and "Drop Off" can also be selected here)

  • "Preferred Doctor" and "Second Preferred Doctor" can be left blank

  • Appointment Status can be left blank until the appointment is confirmed or the patient is checked-in

  • Do not add anything to "Billing Trigger Products" as we are not utilizing this feature


(Yellow) Appointment Description

  • This is the equivalent to "Appointment Notes" in Cornerstone. This should be used for appointment details or client concerns.

  • In the patient's clinical record, this will appear under "Presenting Problem"


(Pink) S.O.C.

  • SOC Events are the equivalent to Cornerstone "Reminders"

  • Overdue items will appear in red
