Modifying An Existing Body Map

Open A Previously Created Body Map

  • (Green) Select "Image Annotations" under the patient's chart (purple tab) to find previously created body maps

  • (Yellow) Double click the body map you wish to review or modify

ALWAYS Update The Comments and Convert to Attachment

  • Once you've added your comments to the body map, please update the Comments Box (purple) with your modification, initials, and date.

  • Because body maps are living documents, it's imperative to press the "Convert to Attachment" button (blue) before closing your window

    • This copies the current version of the body map to the patient's "Attachments" tab which allows you to track changes to the document. This also allows the document to save in patient records.

  • Finally, select "Update" to save and close the window

(Orange) Another Option to Convert to Attachment

  • If you accidentally close out of the updated body map before converting to an attachment, you can do so by simply clicking the paperclip icon on the relevant body map.
