Discharge Sheets

Discharge sheets can be added one of two ways:


(Blue) Add Discharge Summary

  • Select the green "+" symbol next to the section labeled "Discharge Summary" to immediately open a new tab and begin a discharge form

  • You will immediately be asked to select a template


(Green) Create Document

  • Alternatively, you can select "Create Document" at the top of the screen anywhere on a patient's record

  • Begin typing or click the magnifying glass to select a template

  • Select "Edit" to begin your document


Editing The Discharge Sheet


(Pink) Hit Tab to Edit

  • As always, you will simply hit "tab" to quickly move through questions related to the discharge document.

  • This will autofill your document with procedure specific blurbs

  • In this example, we'll select items related to Rover's extraction so the owner knows what to expect


(Yellow) Medications Autofill

  • All medications prescribed during the visit will automatically generate in the discharge sheet!

  • This only applies to prescribed medications; it will not be affected by injectable medications

  • If needed, you can modify this table manually


(Blue) Save and Print

  • Once you're finished, click "Save" to save your document.

  • New options will generate at the top of the page which allow you to print your discharge sheet as shown below:
