All procedure charges and additional billing items (such as ecollars, CRIs, and diagnostics) must be added in the Treatment/Procedure section of a clinical record |
Remember to update the "Patient Status" throughout the day to keep reception informed. This will allow easier communication between the reception team and worried owners. |
Dental radiographs must be requested via EzyVet before they're captured. If a radiograph requeset does not originate from in EzyVet, it will NOT save to the patient's chart! |
Physical exams are very easy for COHATs and Surgeries. Since most COHAT/Surgery patients have been recently examined, you can carry forward a recent physical exam then make updates as needed!
(Blue) Add a Physical Exam
Click the green "+" to add a physical exam
(Pink) Start from Scratch
If desired, you can start a brand new physical exam by clicking the magnifying glass then selecting a physical exam template. Templates include:
Comprehensive Exam
Short Exam
(Orange) Copy a Recent Exam
Instead of starting from scratch, you can click the magnifying glass to view recent exams performed on this patient
Hovering over each option will display the exam
Select the recent exam you wish to copy. This will copy and paste the selected exam into the "Comments" box
You can now update the exam as needed
(Yellow) Update the DVM Name
If you copy a previous exam, you'll need to update the doctor's name
You can either add your own name or remove this line entirely
(Green) Save the Exam
Select "Add" to save the exam and close the window
